Night 1 Preliminary Results
Miss Frontier Country, Veronica Wisniewski of Oklahoma City, won the first preliminary swimsuit competition. She is an Oklahoma City Community College student studying journalism and public relations.
The first preliminary rookie talent award went to Miss Sooner State, Victoria Renard of Kennewick, Wash. An Oklahoma City University student studying dance management and business entrepreneurship, she performed a tap dance.
The first preliminary overall talent award went to Aly Akers, competing as Miss OSU. Akers, of Enid, performed a rhythmic freestyle baton routine. She is an Oklahoma State University senior studying business marketing and prelaw.
